Woodbridge, the community, has been open since 2000. Within this
Bluffton development, located off Buckwalter Parkway, there are six neighborhoods. The newest and most secluded is called Wyngate at Woodbridge, consisting of roughly 120 homes. The people at CraftBuilt Homes anticipate a busy time this fall showing potential buyers the
Woodbridge community and its new model homes.
“People seem to be in love with our new floorplans,” Demi Clark, marketing director for CraftBuilt Homes, pointed out. “Our new models have more flexible space, and for that reason, they show particularly well. The developer, John Cardamone, seems to have found an appealing niche when he chose to construct quality homes with the benefits of a traditional neighborhood in Bluffton, South Carolina,” Clark said.

Woodbridge, one of CraftBuilt’s three developments, has the advantage of a central location – only a 25 minute drive to Savannah, 20 minutes to Hilton Head, and 30 minutes to Beaufort. The community is also conveniently located for families with school-age children, with
Bluffton Elementary and
H.E. McCracken Middle School nearby and the new
Bluffton High School under construction.
It is also relatively close to the Bluffton Public Library, the University of South Carolina New River Campus, nine golf courses, and several shopping centers and public boat landings.

Residents of all ages have come to appreciate Woodbridge, perhaps because they don’t have to leave their community to enjoy over one hundred acres of nature preserves, a community park overlooking a 4-acre lake, recreational area with an Olympic size pool, sidewalks with streetlights, boat storage, and three fully stocked lagoons for kid-friendly fishing.
And there is a bona fide bridge to cross. “Crossing the bridge, you know you are home,” said resident Elaine Graham. “Neighborhood is the key to this community,” she added. “And the cross-section of people – from young to old, singles to couples, working to retired – make it an interesting place to live!”

When the community is completely built out, there will be a 380 finished homes. Clark predicts that might happen as early as 2005.
With that growth, more resident-friendly amenities will come. Nevertheless, base prices in
Woodbridge will include home, landscaping package, energy-efficient building standards, and concrete driveway and sidewalks.
Naturally, all CraftBuilt’s homes come with South Carolina’s 13-year major structural warranty program and numerous desirable interior and exterior features.

The key is to stop by the design center/sales administration office and ask for a site plan map. That way you’ll be able to find your way around the six neighborhoods: Coventry, Stratford, Wellington, Parkside, Mayfair and now, Wyngate at Woodbridge.
Once over the wooden bridge, you enter a quiet, peaceful world away from the hectic pace of everyday life. The concept at
Woodbridge is building neighborhoods while fulfilling dreams for families. And for a number of Blufftonians, that is certainly the case.
