Cold Mountain is about creating the modern rural life. It always bothered me that on Green Acres, there had to be a choice between city and country life. It made for memorable comedy, but a lack of compromise rarely produces positive results.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Charlie Fraser started the Charles Fraser Realty Group at Real Living in the Lowcountry in 2007 along with Jim Purcell and Jay Stidham.
Charlie Fraser has been living on Hilton Head Island since 1965 when his family moved to the island so his father, Joe Fraser, could work with his brother Charles on building Sea Pines Plantation. Charlie began his real estate career as a real estate agent in 1981 for the family business at Sea Pines Real Estate. He has been extensively involved in all aspects of the real estate business ever since. He has been involved in residential development, short term rentals, commercial sales as well as residential sales and listings. He also has been selling and managing resort properties in the low country for over 25 years.
Jim Purcell has been involved in the real estate industry for over 14 years having a Broker’s License in both North Carolina and South Carolina. He has lived on Hilton Head Island for the past three years having moved here from Salisbury, NC. He is an Accredited Buyers Representative as well as a 2006 Realtor Service Award recipient.
Jay Stidham is a native of Ohio, a former Class A PGA Golf Professional and has lived on HHI off and on since 1991. Jay and his business partner Polly started a Real Estate Appraisal Company in Columbus Ohio in 1998 and currently own Appraisal Link here on HHI.
